We know that all puppies are good. Some just need a little assistance with their behavior so they can become the perfect pet. At Westchester K-9, we believe that all dogs and their owners should be treated as individuals, and that every home and every dog we meet is different. With this belief comes the idea that different dog training techniques apply to different dogs, behaviors and homes. We also feel that your dog should be treated as part of the family.

Our philosophy focuses on training a dog to understand right from wrong using positive motivational techniques to insure a proper fit into your family. We can help you modify a number of negative puppy behaviors including house training, obedience, aggression, barking and leash training to name a few. We teach dog manners, good dog behavior and give them a structured life with a clear understanding of what's expected.

Dogs with structure and clear rules to follow are less likely to be insecure, stressed and confused - all states that can lead to inappropriate behavior. When your dog knows you're his leader, knows what the rules are and knows those rules are going to be enforced, he will feel safe, happy and secure. And so will you!
